Stefanie is a wealth advisory and banking veteran, an entrepreneur and an angel investor. Along with founding AegleWealth in 2020, she is a Co-Founder and General Partner with The JumpFund, an angel fund supporting female-led ventures in the southeast (founded 2014).

Stefanie spent over a decade with Bank of America/US Trust (and predecessor NationsBank) advising affluent families with wealth-building strategies to include trust and estate management, investments, private banking and charitable planning. The breadth of experience ranging from establishing and terminating trusts, settling estates, guiding investment portfolios within a variety of taxable and tax-deferred accounts, financing assets like homes, vacation homes, ranches, planes, yachts and art and working with clients leading (and often owning) public and private companies, has provided Stefanie remarkable experience with remarkable clients.

Upon completing her MBA, Stefanie discovered her inner-entrepreneur by seizing the opportunity to join a de novo bank in 2007, CapitalMark Bank & Trust, which facilitated a successful exit to Pinnacle Financial Partners in 2015. With the start-up bank, Stefanie was privileged to have a chance to launch their Trust & Wealth division and later she directed the bank’s marketing, communications, investor relations and strategic planning efforts.  Her greatest fun was running in the nexus of a company working with investors, a board, executive leadership, clients and a great team of associates.  She applies principles learned working inside corporate strategy to concepts she introduces (or emphasizes) to clients.  Resource allocation and management can only be effective with a clear, defining Vision and Business Strategy.

Stefanie obtained her BA in Anthropology from The University of Notre Dame (1991) and her MBA from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (2003). She is a graduate of Cannon Trust School.  She is a frequent presenter on topics related to wealth-building, entrepreneurship, leadership and community-building.

Stefanie is a member of Rotary and in 2007, she was named a Chattanooga Woman of Distinction for leadership.  Stefanie has invested over twenty years serving on at least a dozen non-profit boards to include The United Way of Greater Chattanooga, The Women’s Fund, Helen Ross McNabb (past President of predecessor Fortwood Center), Chattanooga Ballet (past President), Chattanooga Women’s Leadership Institute (past President), Young Women’s Leadership Foundation (past Treasurer) and currently serves as Chair of the Board of Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center.

One of her greatest joys was working with Girls Preparatory School to launch a program showcasing the merits of entrepreneurship for girls – initially named Mad, Bad & Dangerous. She is a mother to two daughters who are strong-minded, ambitious and entrepreneurial and in every way MBD.

Stefanie and her husband of 20+ years live with their daughters in Chattanooga, TN but love to see the world as much as they can.
